Located directly at the Nauener Tor is the Café Heider. As early as 1878, the court guards of the imperial residence town were able to enjoy homemade cakes and pastries from the former confectionery here.

Even today, nostalgia can still be felt here - old photographs, glittering chandeliers, golden mirrors and wall sconces adorn the café and restaurant. With the style of an old coffee house, it is considered the living room of the city. Here you can enjoy culinary delights in an elegant ambience and relaxed atmosphere. Tradition is a top priority at Café Heider, where only selected ingredients are used for the dishes. The guest can expect a generous selection of breakfast, hot dishes as well as selected cakes and tarts. With a view of the former city gate and the hustle and bustle of the street, you can quickly forget the stress of everyday life.

For groups, the restaurant offers space for around 84 people.
