Senftenberg is a town in the south-east of Brandenburg at the heart of the Lusatian Lake District and a state-approved resort. Lake Senftenberger See has been a popular bathing lake for many years, and with its tourist infrastructure offers good conditions for a relaxing and varied holiday. In the immediate vicinity of the fortress with its castle and the zoo is the town harbour – very much its anchor point. Here amateur boaters can sail on Lake Senftenberger See and through the Koschen Canal into neighbouring Lake Geierswalder See and on through the Barbara Canal into the Partwitzer See. A theatre, an adventure pool, various cycle paths and town walks as well as numerous other offers are available for guests and visitors.

  • Tour service – professional guidance of travel groups in the Lusatian Lake District
  • Traditional and culinary town tours of Senftenberg, guided tours through the garden town of Marga
  • Individual family tours and guided tours for children and school groups



 






The tourist information is located right next to the town hall, Markt 1 in Senftenberg.




From May to mid-September, the Tourist Information Centre also has a branch at the town harbour on weekends.
