Hotel LéonWood in the Lido Senftenberg nature and experience resort was opened in 2008 and is Europe’s largest log cabin. Made of Finnish polar pine, the bright rooms radiate a rustic warmth and connection to nature.

All 38 rooms and 3 suites are equipped with a bathroom, radio, satellite television and Internet. Some rooms are also accessible for people with reduced mobility.

A hearty breakfast buffet is included in the overnight-stay price. In the evening, a cosy rustic meal is offered in the hotel’s own restaurant with terrace. One of three home-brewed beers, brewed in the brewing kettles bubbling away in the seating area, represent the perfect accompaniment.

Hotel LéonWood in the Lido Senftenberg Nature and Adventure Resort with its 3 meeting rooms is also perfectly suited for conferences, events and weddings.

The hotel’s 250-square metre-large spa area enables relaxation and promotes well-being in the cooler seasons. The Lido also has a Finnish dry sauna, a steam sauna, a heat bench, four adventure showers and a cosy relaxation room.  The affiliated provider Armonia Exklusiv offers wellness treatments and massages. The spa area can also be used by guests who are not staying at the hotel subject to advance registration.

The highlight of the spa area is a beer vat bath, which cleanses and purifies the body and leaves the skin looking rosy and soft. A mixture of the traditional beer ingredients yeast, hops, malt grist and hot lees is heated in a vat according to a secret recipe and set in motion with a bubbling system. After a bath of 15 to 20 minutes, the guest rests on a straw bed to intensify the effect and relax completely.
