Rathenow is known as the birthplace of the optical industry in Germany. The Optik Park and the vineyard with the monumental Bismarck Tower, an expansive family and landscape park and in 2015 the central area of the German National Garden Show in Rathenow, are all definitely worth a visit. The city is surrounded magnificent natural countryside and lies at the centre of the West Havelland Nature Park.

The Rathenow Tourist Information Centre is your friendly point of contact in the West Havelland region when it comes to vacations, leisure and recreation.Follow the church steeple that is visible from afar! It is a five minute walk from the landing stages. Tip: Selected regional products, 24-hour Wi-fi.
