With over 140 members, one of the most modern fleets of aircraft in East Germany and numerous competitions at national level, the club has really made a name for itself in recent years. You can still experience the fascination of flying and learn to fly yourself where Otto Lilienthal once conducted his flight tests. Every year, the club trains young pilots in glider and motor-powered flight on a voluntary basis. FSV Stölln/Rhinow e.V. was named the most family-friendly aerial sport club in Germany by the DAeC for its integrative efforts in relation to family and sport.

Flights take place during the season from March to October and on weekends, as well as during competitions and on training weeks.

Round flights (so-called taster flights) in a glider or motor glider are available and can be arranged in advance. Questions regarding training and much more are answered on the club website, which also provides numerous impressions in the form of pictures and videos.
