A retreat with friends or family: FUCHSBAU and its six charming en-suite rooms are situated in the Westhavelland Nature Park, Germany’s first ‘star park’. The whole house is decorated with beautiful antique furniture and contemporary art. Spend a pleasant few hours in our large room with fireplace, and leaf through the books in our exquisite art library. Cook together in the fully equipped country kitchen. You can dine together at the large table in the cafe room with a piano bar, or while away the day with a glass of wine. Soak up the sun on our southern terrace in the courtyard, or take a relaxing stroll through our gorgeous, enchanted farm garden with lots of spots to sit and to retreat. Experience the unique Havelland nature on a long walk or along the Havel Cycle Path. The bathing area with a sandy beach or a day trip by boat are excellent options on the River Havel in the summer. There’s plenty to see in the village of Bahnitz, including an art gallery, an ostrich farm, a Kneipp route, a lock and a weir, possibly the smallest church in Germany, a stork’s nest, and much more. Spend a relaxing few days in the countryside in one of Brandenburg’s most beautiful villages: the artists’ village of Bahnitz, situated on a bend in the River Havel. A special place for friends and family who want to spend a great time together.
