Schönhagen airfield, just 25 minutes from the outskirts of Berlin, offers a wide range of different options for scenic flights, charter flights, gliding and hot-air balloon trips. Schönhagen is an ideal starting point for a bicycle tour on bikes and/or e-bikes that can be rented at the airport itself.

It is one of Germany’s most important airfields and is the largest in the new federal states. The airfield is located in the middle of one of the most beautiful landscapes in Brandenburg, the Fläming region, nestling in the woodland, heath and lakeland scenery of the Nuthe-Nieplitz Nature Park. Thanks to intensive cooperation, nature and technology are in perfect harmony here. Schönhagen is a strong partner for business travellers as well as for passionate private flyers. The Cockpit Restaurant, located in the airport terminal provides an extraordinary symbiosis of nature and technology with its glazed walls on all sides. Guests can enjoy the excellent cuisine with a view of the picturesque natural scenery, the apron and the runway. The friendly Cockpit team serves regional specialities and seasonal dishes. On warmer days out on the sun terrace, you can even feel part of all the action on the runway. And when it's cooler, the glazed walls on all sides mean that you can see all the action from the warmth indoors.
