The Tower Restaurant Cockpit is located on the first floor of the departure building at Schönhagen, Germany’s largest regional airport, directly in the tower.

But, thanks to its exposed location, every diner has a fantastic view of the apron, petrol station, taxi ways and the main runway.

You always have a clear view of everything going on from here from the expansive terrace or inside the restaurant: maybe a jet is landing for refuelling or a helicopter floating by just a few metres in front of the terrace.

However it’s not just the view that is exceptional at the “Cockpit”. It’s the perfect stop-off on a tour of the Nuthe-Nieplitz Nature Park and the northern Fläming region. The menu features regularly changing dishes, which offer something for everyone – small snacks or heartier dishes, regional specialities or dishes with influences from around the world. The restaurant team also has function rooms and catering for events, seminars, weddings or birthdays.
