Because motor boats are prohibited, Lake Seddiner See is very clean and quiet. The outstanding quality of the water and the idyllic, unspoilt surroundings invite you to enjoy a swim. Kähnsdorfer Strand is the biggest lido on Lake Großer Seddiner See. The bathing area has a sandy lido and a large sunbathing lawn. The shallow entry makes the bathing area family-friendly. In summer, the kiosk sells snacks and drinks. There are also toilets in site. Tourism infrastructure such as a camp sites, boat rental and day trip destinations are all in the immediate vicinity.
