Hoyerswerda is located in the middle of the emerging Lusatian Lakeland. The old town is home to a market square, a castle, a zoo, and a ‘culture factory’ in the citizens’ centre, which also houses the tourist information centre. Visitors and guests can enjoy an adventure pool, the Lausitzhalle, the Zuse-Computer-Museum, the Knappenrode energy factory, the Krabatmühle mill in Schwarzkollm and much more.
