Want to enjoy a cosy breakfast with your family, coffee and a cake with your best friend or a home-made ice cream with the grandkids? A warm welcome awaits you at the Stadtcafé at the heart of Hoyerswerda! The cafe is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day. Our breakfast selection is perfect for early as well as not-so-early risers. We offer breakfast all day long, starting from 7 a.m., whether you fancy a sandwich or a sweet or savoury breakfast. We’ll also be happy to serve you a speciality coffee, tea or hot chocolate to accompany it. Would you rather enjoy it at home? No problem – the Stadtcafé has a wide selection of fresh bread, bread rolls, and cakes. All baked goods are produced fresh each day at the Landbäckerei Schmidt baker’s, with the focus always on the quality and taste of the products. We do not use ready-made industrial products, preservatives or flavour enhancers. We prefer to use our own recipes, and local ingredients wherever possible. If you’re looking to recharge at lunchtime you’ll find lots of tasty treats on our menu, freshly prepared for you. For example, you can choose from ragout fin, oven-fresh tarte flambee, a crunchy salad or our soup of the day. There is also an alternating dish of the day from Monday to Friday. Of course you can also take our dishes home or to the office in a neat pack-up. There is also home-made ice cream for a cool, creamy treat. Our ice cream is made fresh using our own recipes in our in-house ice cream factory, where the raw ingredients and taste are the number-one priority, exclusively using select and above all natural ingredients. There’s something for everyone’s palate here! We have all the dairy classics including chocolate, vanilla and stracciatella, and if you prefer something fruity and refreshing you’ll love our fruit ice cream, which is 100% vegan and lactose-free. The assortment may vary day by day.
