The restaurant is in the centre of the medieval town of Jüterbog. A variety of German cuisine is serves and guests can choose from a extensive range of dishes. In addition to meat dishes, fish and vegetarian food are also on the menu. Seasonal dishes and game specialities complete the offering. There is a special menu for tour groups.

The rustic dining area with its whitewashed walls and dark wooden beams has space for 50 persons. The folk tale “The Smith of Jüterbog” is behind the name of the restaurant with decorative forge tools in the dining area, lending it a special flair. 24 guests can be served in the beer garden in the partly covered inner courtyard. For bigger festivities or family celebrations, additional spaces such as the hall, the barn or the threshing barn are available.

There are also tours on the Flämingbahn railway line. These are only available to guests of the house and for up to 50 persons.
