Nikolaikirche church, a three-nave Gothic building, was built between the 13th and the 16th century. The church was originally consecrated in 1307. The current church, a Gothic hall church, was built in three phases. The work on the tower - which is now finished - was only completed after 1,500 years. In addition to the Tetzel box and the baptismal chapel, which is well worth seeing, the church also has an old Gothic winged altar and a majestic organ, which is originally a Wagner organ but was converted by Rührmann in the 20th century. The façade of the organ has been preserved.
