The Gut Ogrosen is located on the southern edge of Spreewald Forest and it is part of a group of organic farms. The farm’s focus area of work are its 120 dairy cows of the old breed ‘German Black Pied Cattle’. The farm is also home to around 30 fattening pigs. The cows’ milk is processed in the on-site cheese dairy. Among the cheese varieties produced here are camembert, blue and white cheese, and hard cheeses such as ‘Ogrosener Hofkäse’ and ‘Liebesbergkäse’. Another speciality is the hand-made raw milk curd that is essential for Spreewald cooking and the popular dish of potatoes with curd and linseed oil.

The product range of the farm shop includes milk and cheese products from cows, sheep and goats, as well as meat, sausage products, potatoes, vegetables, grains, fruit, juices and linseed oil. The farm shop café serves drinks and little snacks. Guests are welcome to enjoy the farm flair from the 20 seats in front of the shop.

The just under eight hectares big farm park is a lovely place to go for a walk, and there is also a playground and a barbecue area.
