The clean water of the lake and its lovely sandy beach make the campsite ideal for all those who love bathing. Culinary treats are served at the beach restaurant. The lake is also an attractive destination for anglers, as it is home to eels, catfish, pikes, carps and zanders.

Germany’s biggest connected lake area is also very close by. Carps have been bred in Peitz for more than 400 years, and carps from Peitz are a delicacy that is well-known across Europe.
