The charming 'Villa Walnuss' comprises a summer house and two holiday apartments in the main building. The summer house was mentioned as far back as 1750 in the chronicles of Buckow and was completely renovated in 1998. The main building is an Art Nouveau styled villa dating back to 1902 and was built by a native of Berlin as his summer residence in this central location. The wonderful tea house in the garden also dates back to this time – perfect for whiling away the hours looking over Lake Buckow. The grounds of the house, which extend to some 7,000 square metres, are perfect for relaxing in and unwinding under the old fruit trees, reading a book or snatching an afternoon nap. And, of course, you can swim at any time as the residence has its own jetty for access to Lake Buckow.
