Fürstenberg/Havel is Germany’s only waterside town. The name “Wasserstadt” (waterside town) is well earned as half the area of the town consists of water. Located on three islands as the heart of an expansive forest and lake district, it offers ideal conditions for watersport enthusiasts, nature lovers and active holidaymakers. The Fürstenberg Lake District includes one of the most beautiful and cleanest bathing lakes in Germany.
