The district town of Oranienburg is set amid an enchanting landscape with lakes, canals, meadows and extensive woodlands. Only 30 kilometres north of the capital city of Berlin, the town is a great starting point for numerous outings. Located in the centre of the town, Oranienburg Park with the Palace (the earliest Baroque palace building in Brandenburg) is a wonderful place to stroll and linger. Meanwhile Lake Lehnitzsee on the outskirts of the town is excellent for swimming, boating and hiking.

  • Information material and literature on Oranienburg, the surrounding area and the Ruppiner Land
  • Information on outings and leisure activities
  • Information on bicycle, hiking and waterway tours
  • Sale of souvenirs
  • Guided tours of the town on foot and by carriage (on request)
  • Individual day trips
  • Arrangement of modular and package offers for individual and group tours
  • Ticket sales for events
  • Sale of fishing licences and permits
  • Regional products all year round at the regional shop in the tourist information centre
  • Alternating exhibitions at the gallery in the tourist information centre
