A warm welcome to our lovingly restored castle hotel in the well-known stork village (around 30 breeding pairs) and in the middle of the Brandenburg Elbe floodplain in the Prignitz region says Torsten Foelsch and Christian Foelsch-Fanselow. The old farming and former estate village of Rühstädt on the Elbe with its picturesque farmsteads, the late-medieval brick church and the castle with its park, built in 1782 on an old building site, is only 7 kilometres away from the beautiful spa town and former place of pilgrimage Bad Wilsnack, from where there is a connection to the big wide world - the Berlin-Hamburg railway. Here, where the Elbe and Havel rivers meet, the village is surrounded by a beautiful, unspoilt floodplain landscape, and cycling and hiking paths - above all the enchanting Elbe cycle path - invite you to rest and relax as well as spend active time in nature. Walks in nature, excursions to the surrounding sights in the town and countryside of western Prignitz offer multiple opportunities for recreation and relaxation for body, mind and soul.
