The traditional town of Guben, known for its hat industry, is located on the eastern border of Brandenburg adjoining Poland on the River Neiße. The valley of the river, mountains to the east and west of the town and the end moraines from the Ice Age shape the Lower Lusatian scenery around Guben. Extensive forests, numerous lakes with excellent water quality, lush meadows and the typical heathland landscape north-west of Guben characterise the region just waiting to be explored.

The traditional town of Guben, known for its hat industry, is located on the eastern border of Brandenburg adjoining Poland on the River Neiße.
