Neuzelle, a “Bohemian oasis” in the state of Brandenburg, can look back on a history of over 750 years. The Cistercian monastery, which was founded here more than seven centuries ago by Henry the Illustrious, is today the only fully preserved Cistercian monastery in Brandenburg and the largest Baroque monument in eastern and northern Germany. After extensive renovation work, the monastery shines in new splendor and attracts numerous visitors every year.

Services offered by the Neuzelle Visitor Information Center:

  • Room bookings: The visitor information center coordinates room reservations in hotels, inns, guesthouses, private rooms as well as vacation apartments and houses throughout Neuzelle and the Brandenburg region.

  • Group tourism: Tailor-made accommodation offers, guided tours of the monastery complex and the region's museums as well as nature tours are organized for groups. Supporting programs and catering services can also be booked through the visitor information office.

  • Information material: Free brochures and information material on Neuzelle and the Oder-Spree Lakeland region are available to provide visitors with all the relevant information.
