"BaLi", as the locals affectionately call our spa town, is a town in a park. It is not only worth visiting in the summer months, but also in the winter you can relax under palm trees in our Lausitztherme Wonnemar leisure complex. Back in 1925 we were recognised as a “spa” and are therefore one of the most traditional health resorts in Brandenburg. The healing effect of the natural peat has been recognised here since 1905. In 2003, the spa town was first certified as a “peloid spa resort”.

Bad Liebenwerda tourist information centre is located right in the town centre in the historic Rossmarkt market square and is open to visitors every day. We are happy to advise you on all tourist matters in order to make your stay in our town an unforgettable experience.

In addition to recommendations for day trips, you will also receive one or two “insider tips”, so that even the most hidden and most spectacular corner of the spa town region is not hidden away.

A wide range of cycling and hiking maps, souvenirs and postcards, regional products and information about sights throughout the entire Elbe-Elster-Land region and beyond can be found here.

We offer you historic guided tours, bicycle rental including e-bikes with a bicycle trai0ler, helmets, child seats and mountain bikes, free locks and charging stations in the entrance of our tourist information centre, ticket sales for various events, package deals and much more. You can also arrange your travel documents in digital format here and carry them with you in your trouser pocket in the QR code on your mobile phone.
