The “Parkhotel Schönewalde” hotel is located on the outskirts of the small town of Schönewalde in Brandenburg, between the Fläming and the Lausitz regions. Incidentally, Schönewalde Church is one of the stops on the newly established “Kirchenstrasse Elbe-Elster” route. Nestling in this picturesque rural region, the hotel is situated between far-reaching pine forests, extensive meadows and endless fields and streams. The 32 comfortably furnished rooms all have separate bathrooms with shower/toilet and hairdryer,and feature cable television and a desk. Wi-fi access is available throughout the building as a free service. The entire hotel is completely non-smoking, but you may smoke on your private balcony overlooking the hotel’s garden or the park opposite. A hearty breakfast buffet awaits guests in the morning after a relaxing night in a quiet environment. The hotel also offers a conference room accommodating up to 24 people. It also has its own quality restaurant and a spacious garden terrace in summer. There is also a lockable bicycle shed for your bicycle in our garden. The hotel also has free parking on its grounds. Experience the vastness of the landscape, exploring either by bike or on foot. Historic towns, including Luther’s town of Wittenberg, Torgau, Jüterbog, Luckau, Dahme and Mühlberg, are all less than 60 kilometres away. Other destinations for a day out include the unique landscape of the Spreewald Forest or the famous Wörlitz Gardens. Berlin, Leipzig and Dresden are no more than a 1.5-hour drive. And if you are more into sporting activities, you might like to head out by bicycle on one of the three well-signposted cycle paths that run right past our front door. Our hotel is an ADFC (German National Cyclists’ Association)-certified Bed & Bike hotel. And if you are an inline skating enthusiast, you are guaranteed to be drawn to Europe’s largest skating route, the FLÄMING SKATE, a 10-minute drive from us,with its endless undulations.
