This quaint restaurant with its high thatched roof lies right by the River Dahme and offers regional food cooked by the chef himself. Fish dishes are his speciality. Guests can sit in the cosy interior, with natural stone walls, rustic timber beams and an open fire, or on the stylish outdoor terrace between patio plants, with a view across the quietly flowing water.

In addition to fish, the menu also includes other regional and seasonal delicacies such as soups, salads, pasta dishes, steaks and schnitzels. In the summer months, meals are served straight from the barbecue in the outdoor area.

The dining area can seat up to 40 guests on solid wooden chairs and the terrace can accommodate 45 people. The restaurant is also popular with the many cyclists who enjoy exploring the beautiful lakeland scenery along the River Dahme – bicycle parking facilities are provided. On the banks of the River Dahme, right outside the restaurant, there are two landing stages for water tourists wishing to take break at the Fährhaus.
