The beer garden with direct views of the water and the arriving boats and punts is a lovely place to relax, enjoy and recharge your batteries. The premises have been home to the little bakehouse and the quirky smoke corner since 2017. Guests can enjoy little snacks, as well as typical Spreewald fare including, of course, various flavours of the famous Spreewald gherkins. With dishes ranging from hearty knuckle of pork, via juicy baked ham and freshly smoked fish, through to small snacks, everyone is going to find something they like. Experience the great flavours and the cosy atmosphere for yourself, when the ovens are heated up. In the afternoon you can enjoy a cup of coffee along with the popular home-made ‘Hefeplinsen’ pancakes or a piece of sheet cake.

Another great feature is the fact that you can start on your punting tour around Spreewald Forest, right from the boat house at Leineweber. If you would rather discover the Spreewald streams on your own, you can rent a kayak or a Canadian canoe by the hour.
