For over a century, the water works have stood in the spa gardens directly on the shore of Lake Scharmützelsee, with magnificent surroundings, hidden out of view but with an eventful history. The water works once supplied the town with electricity and power, survived war and Russian occupation, and then stood empty for decades. The water works has now bee transformed with great attention to detail into a veritable 'Lakeside Hideaway' and is the perfect base for relaxing, switching off, unwinding, leaving your cares behind and simply taking a vacation. You cannot fail to feel the magic of this unique place, whether high up in the lofty Compressor Tower, in the Water Tower, in front of the large fireplace in the Electrical Plant Loft, or under the high ceilings of the Machine Hall. The above apartments are designed for 1-2 people, while the Master Apartment and Director's Apartment can accommodate up to 4 people.
