The resort town of Müllrose and the Schlaubetal Nature Park are worth a visit at any time of year. Numerous hiking and cycling trails start right outside the house. Suggestions for excursions are available at the Schlaubetal Information Centre in the town centre of Müllrose, about 1 km away. Next door, the nature park centre with its multimedia exhibition shows the diversity of the Schlaubetal Nature Park, which, with its quiet, unspoilt forests, lakes and rivers, wide meadows, purple flowering heathland and dark moors, provides a habitat for many rare animals and plants.
