For nearly 100 years, is the palace Schloss Kartzow located in the North of Potsdam at the edge of the Döberitzer Heide, about 30 kilometres Westbound of Berlin. Hardly any other building by Eugen Schmohl is as picturesque as Schloss Kartzow. About 130 residents live in Kartzow today, which was first mentioned in a document 650 years ago. Most of the buidlings from that era doesn't exist anymore because of the many fires which destroyed the old buildings. Who passes Kartzow today does not only miss the rural tranquility but also the sight of the 1995 restored neo-Gothic church. The pride and solidarity of the village - Schloss Kartzow - is supposed to be fully encorporated into the village image. From December 2006 untill April 2010, the historic palace was reconstructed under the listed building standards.

"Schloss Kartzow" is available to you and your guests with a restored ground floor, a 150 sq.m. terrace and an 8 hectar natural park. In April 2010, 1 suite, 2 junior suites and 9 double rooms were added. On the upper floor of the buiding, the rooms were kept in warm colours and individually as well as stylishly decorated. The double rooms were modernly and exclusively furnished and technologically equipped. The 56 sq.m with two separate rooms, a living as well as a dressing room, and a bedroom that kept its historic architecture.

The 32 sq.m junior suites consist of a lounge area, a sleeping area that were lovingly furnished. Every room has a free internet access. Also, there are mineral water bottles and fruit baskets in the rooms for guest comfort. Historic ambience and modern comfort now form a unit here as well and offer a relaxing end to a beautiful day.
