The vacation home "Alte Schmiede Reichwalde" was built in 1846 and is located in Boxberg in the district Reichwalde, opposite a small idyllic pond. The renovation created a vacation home with the charm of an ancient building, combined with the amenities of a modern interior design that meets today's standards. Now there are 2 ground-floor vacation apartments in the object waiting for their guests. Furthermore, there are lockable storage facilities for bicycles brought along and an e-bike charging station. Parking is available and there is a charging station for e-cars.

Nearby is a bakery with everyday goods and a bus stop to reach other destinations in the Lusatian Lakeland by public transport. In summer, the outdoor pool, which is about 400 m away, with a 50 m pool, giant slide, children's slide, volleyball and playground as well as snack invites you to stay. Directly at the accommodation, cycling enthusiasts can ride the Wolf Cycle Path. The Bärwalder See, which is about 8 km away, offers further possibilities to do sports or just enjoy the sun and the beach. Other excursion destinations would be the erratic block park in Nochten (about 10 km) or a visit to the Erlichthof Rietschen (about 10 km) to recommend.
