The town of Brandenburg an der Havel, over 1000 years old, lies at the heart of the Mark Brandenburg region between Berlin and Magdeburg. The River Havel forms a blue belt which, along with country roads and cycle paths, links the town to other towns in the Mark Brandenburg region, which you can discover with tours on water and on dry land. Whether by boat, bicycle, car or on foot, there’s something new to discover wherever you go. Berlin is also just 45 minutes away on the Regionalexpress 1. Ferienwohnung Haveltraum lies on the edge of the old town of Brandenburg, just 800 metres away from the pedestrian precinct. The town centre is just a few minutes away on foot, by bike or by boat. Here you can stroll through the pedestrian precinct, visit one of the many old churches including Brandenburg Cathedral, or stop off at the theatre. Lots of restaurants are a great place for long, cosy evenings out. For over 100 years the finest wool and silk yarn was produced on the premises of this former worsted spinning mill – today you can unwind and enjoy life on the banks of the River Havel here. Whether you want to unwind in one of the two gardens, on the terrace or on the bathing jetty, here you’re guaranteed peace and relaxation right by the water and at the heart of the town.
