The spacious, forest-like site right by Lake Zemminsee is a refuge for holiday visitors – both for sole travellers and for families and groups. The country house was designed in the 1930s by the architect Fritz Eberhardt. In the time of the GDR, it was converted into a prestigious hostel for guests of the state. Today, the stylishly yet simply renovated bungalows attract visitors to Lake Zemminsee.

They can choose between a total of four holiday homes for two to six people; one of these is the former boat house. It is romantically located right by the lake and has its own landing stage. A holiday apartment in the country house completes the range of accommodation available. The houses are equipped with bedrooms or combined living room/bedrooms, a kitchen or kitchenette and a modern bathroom with shower. Television and radio are also available. All accommodation includes a separate terrace with furniture.

On the site itself, the casino, with a large room (75 square metres) with lake view and outdoor terrace and with fully equipped kitchen is the ideal setting for celebrations and workshops for up to 60 people.

A meeting point for younger guests on the site is a large playground, which also has table tennis and a trampoline. Various bathing areas with jetties and the chance to hire paddle boats, pedal boats, rowing boats, motor boats and sailing boats provide the opportunity for activities of all types by, in and on the water. Safety equipment is available for all weight categories and age groups. The holiday homes have child-friendly facilities.
