The restaurant, previously called "Kaffekahn", has a ship-like and rustic ambience, and is situated on the southern shore of Lake Seddinsee. From the dining area with its blue and white striped walls and dark wooden furniture there is a wonderful panoramic view over the lake. Outside on the deck there are additional tables which can be used in good weather – with the lake view included.

The restaurant specialises in traditional fare. On the menu you will find fish dishes typical of the region as well as escalope variations or seasonal dishes such as asparagus with salmon. Homemade tray bakes are served with coffee and tea. A wide selection of cold and hot drinks is also available for brief stops at the café.

Next to the restaurant there are various guest berths for boats up to 15 metres in length, which are reserved for visitors to the restaurant.
