The campsite is located between Berlin in the north and the magical Spreewald in the south, directly at the Wooden Lake which is the literal translation of „Hölzerner See“. It is situated in the beautiful Nature Reserve Dahme-Heideseen with its speciose forests and spacious waterbodies. Cyclists, kayakers and hiking enthusiasts love this unique countryside.

On the grounds is a bathing area, a playground and a sports field. 

The red wooden reception building includes also a small shop which sells everyday goods and ice cream from regional production as well as a snack bar that has a lot to offer from classic fries to stone oven pizza. Homemade cakes are often served on the weekends.

The reception offers a lot of information, maps and brochures on destinations and events in the area.

If you don’t want to bring your accommodation with you: they rent out camping barrels and caravans too! Permananet Campers are welcome all year long.

Grilling with charcoal and open fire are not permitted due to the high risk of forest fires.
